The welcome greeting was not so good - seemed not to care one way or another that I was there. I have stayed in over 100 hotels in France, and this was probably the least friendly of the welcomes. The bicycle garage is fantastic with even plugins for E-bikes. this is very thoughtful and considerate. The floors and walls of halls and rooms are A. bit "beat up" and the halls smelled A. bit of tobacco smoke/were kind of stale. The breakfast was great and the attendant in this case was fantastic. The views from the bar and breakfast rooms are great! I loved watching the tide come in A. go out from my own room! That was fantastic. A. room without A. view of the beach wouldn't be nearly as favorable as my room - bath with A. view, too. Rooms are spartan but I figured they would be like that. Overall A. good stay - the front desk could have been better.

I cannot say anything bad about the experience from check in to check out everything went smoothly. Staff were extremely pleasant and the breakfast and bar service could not be faulted
