Dinan is a well preserved, well restored, walled medieval town, complete with imposing ramparts, towers and a castle about 20 minutes drive from Saint Malo.

Dinan is set in a captivating location on a hillside overlooking the Rance.

Perfectly preserved timber buildings, weld preserved cobbled street and an almost complete circuit of massive walls which enclose the town over a distance of 3 km are the treats waiting for you.

One of the best ways to enjoy a visit is to simply spend a day wandering the pitoresque squares and old streets or admiring the buildings whilst relaxing at a pavement cafe. You may stroll down Rue du Petit Fort to the river Rance & Old Port

The Tower of St Anne or Castle of Dinan which was built in the 14th century and at 34 meters high provides great views of the town and the surrounding counrtryside.
